My Own Space Dementia

ok, so here's the skinny

i take an auto-immune suppressant for Colitis, which i've had since i was 12 years old.
To go to Africa you need to get a required vaccination for Yellow Fever which is a "live" vaccination meaning they basically give you a bit of the virus to make your body immune. But since my immune system is compromised by this other drug there's a chance I could actually contract the Yellow Fever virus in which there is no cure and there's up to a 50% mortality rate on people who get it.

Needless to say i am so so so depressed about this.
I can't even communicate my disappointment and depression.
It's like a downward spiral that won't stop.

I was so looking forward to this trip for such a myriad of reasons
and i had so many goals for the trip leading up and after.

It seems the harder I try to find my direction in my new life
the harder it is to find it.

My Own Space Dementia

So much to document about the DC trip this week.

But what I want to first write about is my new mission to raise money to be able to visit our AWF well sites and beautiful recipients in person in March. A couple of us discussed with Africare going to Liberia and Ghana where we have completed and in progress projects. I feel like I'm being called to go. But, of course don't have the $2500-$3000 to go.

Anyone have any idea's about how I can raise the money in 3 months?

Refocusing on AWF through the meeting with Africare and our board meeting really made me re-evaluate my life and the way I've been living it. I've been so incredibly selfish and hidden the last couple of months and just taking for granted everything I *do* have. My priorities have been realigned but it's time to redefine and list them again. I feel now is the time to go see the work I have contributed to (which i know will help redefine my priorities and purpose) and to document the trip to show others what can be accomplished through a small group of people's passion, resourcefulness and hard work.

So, anyone have any idea's about how I can raise the money in 3 months?
