yeah - i just bought my plane ticket to Chicago/Wisconsin for Muse's show and weekend in the country.
SUPER PSYCHED.

We saw beck last night. It was AMAZING.
Opening act Jamie Lidell was brilliant - I just bought his 2 cds on iTunes this morning.
Beck was most entertaining - he had a full on puppet show that mimed every move the band made.
i can't even explan it, but it was original and exciting and well worth the $60 show ticket.
I shaked my booty like I haven't in months and it felt soooo good!
I also ran into the radio dude who got me in to the poker game with Muse last year.
i asked him if we were going to play again in August when they came back and he was pretty aloof about it.
whatever, i'll find my own way, mr. "i'm such hot shit cause i work at this trashy alternative radio station that still play pearl jam in heavy rotation".

exactly one week from today, to the minute, i'll be buying a house!
and tommorrow, DeVotchKa at The Earl!!
