My Own Space Dementia

the last 13 hours of my weekend
well, another weekend coming to a close.
no, i do NOT get Presidents Day off.
Fine.

I was semi-productive.

Friday we went to our next door neighbors house warming party and socialized a bit and actually found out we had things in common. We even did the key swap thing. That was neato.

Then went out for late dinner and drinks with my brother.
Which was a bit of a mistake because Saturday i was pretty naseuas all day. I can't eat super late and go straight to bed. Not to mention the 2 martinis.
ANYWAY
Saturday my brother and i went to Filene's Basement for some clothes. They were having a pretty awesome sale.
I am not a fan of clothes shopping because it always reminds me of how fat i have become and how all the cutest things i want are not in plus sizes. But i had a little of a happy epiphany. I was trying on some pretty skirts, and even though i had told myself i was only going to get a couple of basic separates, probably in black and brown, these skirts with burgundy, i realized i could wear pretty things to work. Not just a bland uniform.
So, I spent my money on uncordinating pieces. Well, all i could afford were 3. And one was a Calvin Klein! name brand - ooh la la i feel so naughty!!
Next paycheck i will buy something coordinating though. I now own 3 outfits i could wear to work. I need to have at least 5!!!

Today I went to a scrapbook meet-up thingie. It was alright. A little more annoying than last time because there were a couple of kids there and for some reason they always single me out to want to bother. This one little girl kept grabbing my scissors and glue and folding my pretty papers ... grrrrrr ... i didn't know how to tell her to stop without making her cry but finally her mom called her over away from me. THANK GOD. There's a reason why i made Eric get a vasectomy. And that was it.

But there were some real hardcore scrapbookers there today - real southern "designing women" gals. But it actually kinda rocked because they wanted to see my scrapbook (I had my wedding album in progress with me) and they were really complimentary about my techniques. These are women who spent $200 on supplies too!! God damn if i had that type of money! To spend on pretty papers and stickers!!!! Just imagine ... *sigh*

So, now just chilling at home. Just made some Kraft Mac and Cheese and sticking to tea tonight. I'm still a bit nauseus feeling from yesterday for some crazy reason.
